They engaged in a fierce battle under an aren tree and tragically lost their lives. After the deaths of Si Pahit Lidah and Si Mata Empat, a spring emerged beneath the aren tree.

Mount Dempo is located in the city of Pagaralam, on the border of South Sumatra Province and Bengkulu Province. It is known as a producer of robusta coffee.

Pagaralam can be reached by land travel approximately 7 hours from Palembang, the capital of South Sumatra Province.

To reach the location, from the Pagaralam terminal, it is necessary to charter a car or taxi bound for the PTPN VII Persero Tea Factory, which is approximately 8 km away from the terminal.
